So sunny, so hot,
summer in December.
The locals are ready for some cooler weather,
while the Northerners bask in the warmth
before heading back to the tundra.

moves into the day
that is the start of longer days
and shorter
nights.
Imperceptible,
yet,
very welcome.

Restless ocean claiming the land.
