At the risk of repeating myself,
we really do live in a beautiful world.
Nature persists.
In spite of what men do to each other and to the planet
to distract us,
Nature persists.
There is beauty and diversity and wonder
all around us.
And we,
who are a part of that wonder,
must insist on PEACE.
We must revel in the beauty and the possibility of Peace
in our hearts and in the world.

2 different days!
Jupiter sailing past Venus in the early morning hour.
Venus is the brighter planet although Jupiter is larger, it's much farther away!
That was Sunday morning, just before sunrise.
Each day Jupiter moves farther away from Venus.
But what a wonderful pair!

Grateful for all the people who have come and gone in my life
and helped me to become the person I am today -
for better or worse!
Grateful for all the things that are going right in my world -
and there are many.
Grateful as always for the sun and moon and stars,
for blue skies and rain and trees and flowers.
We are all made of the same star stuff -
the same stuff.
All one.

It does.
It will.
Somehow it opens your heart and reminds you of the love there.
There is a song that goes like the first line of this post but I can't find it!
But there are 2 others with the title of "Love Will Find a Way" by Pablo Cruise and Lionel Ritchie.
In any event, Love will find a way!

It's that time of year -
in a very odd year _
when emotions are raw and memories haunt you.
Riding waves of feelings,
not knowing where they come from,
or why,
or how long,
you hang on.
Storms come and they go,
and you hang on.
You hang on.
And they go.
Life is still life -
imperfectly perfect.
Stay safe,
and patient
and perfect.

Picture your perfect world.
At least once, for a few minutes or more!

Let's be patient with one another.
We are all in this for the long haul
and depend on each other to remain safe and healthy.
Love and kindness are our best tools to see this through.

It's Sunday,
take the day off!
With all of the bad news and incompetence of our government,
and missing being close to our loved ones -
our hearts get heavy.
But that's because of the love in our hearts.
Love and compassion and empathy and sorrow.
So, take a break.
Forget the bad news and focus on the love -
the love inside your Big Heart.
Love is everywhere evident -
even in this pandemic.
Look inside,
past the confusion and pain,
to the love.
That love - your love, my love,
will see us through to the other side of this.
Trust that love.
Feel it.

It's been over a month since I've been to the beach.
Emotions seem to be wrapped up in worry and uncertainty,
and I don't miss it in the usual way.
But I do miss it!

Zora Neale Hurston, with no disrespect to organized Religion,
states that-
"It is simply not for me...
The springing of the yellow line of morning out of the misty deep of dawn,
is glory enough for me."

Every day the sun rises,
whether we see it or not,
the rotation of the earth allows for one sunrise and one sunset a day.
On the International Space Station the sun rises and sets about 15 times a day!
It's a shift in perspective,
a way different point of view!

The longest night
moves into the day
that is the start of longer days
and shorter
nights.
Imperceptible,
yet,
very welcome.

When you look higher,
there is Jupiter!
The sun is about to rise and outshine these pals as they make their way across the sky.
A beautiful sight.

One misty, moisty, morning,
when cloudy was the weather...
Palencia golf course, St. Augustine Florida, just before sunrise and the fog got thicker and thickerer until the sun finally burned through...
Folks have been missing the sun around here,
and they say there's a comet hiding behind the clouds too.
Soon we'll have our sunny sky, blue sky, clear night sky,
back again,
soon.

Although the Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, it is a celebration of light.
It's the birthday of the sun.
Our red star turns his warm face back to earth once again and like the ancients,
we are assured that there will be another spring and another harvest and back again to another winter solstice.
So, make peace with the year behind you and get your dreams rolling for the one to come.
Here comes the sun!
