Me thinks that I may have stumbled upon the very festive,
celebratory final leg of a coast to coast
bicycle run.
Happy guys putting their bikes in the salty Atlantic!!!
And a bottle of Champagne!

and the sideways glance of the lowering sun,
illuminating the sea foam -
it's all the soul needs.

On a warm January day off, sitting on the beach,
enjoying the skimmers, pelicans and gulls, and a family fishing nearby.
In Vietnam each seaside village has a secret fish sauce recipe.
