Between cloudy nights
and thunderstorm days,
the moon only showed her face two times
for an entire month.
But the clouds - the clouds were wonderful!
building each day in the willing sky,
between sun and rain and rainbows!

The Earth is breathing a sigh of relief today,
the 50th anniversary of Earth Day,
because her brainy humans have shut down
the engines of pollution.
No, it can't go on like this - or can it?
(There was a reason that manufacturing left the USA,
besides cheap labor -
lax environmental controls.
Maybe the countries who host these pollutors
will realize what they have sacrificed.)

If you miss a double rainbow,
but a really good friend sends you her wonderful photo of it,
then maybe you didn't entirely miss it,
even though you did miss it!
Anyway, so grateful for friends who see and share!

Sometimes we get distracted and miss something really wonderful
happening right behind us.
Or if we are lucky,
there is a nice person there to say,
"Can you see the colors in that cloud?"

that is in every human on the planet.
