Trust...

 

 

How much can we trust each other?

You and me,

and the stranger who made these wonderful lattés?

 

More than we give ourselves credit for,

I think.

 

How many bridges do you go over without worrying whether or not they will support you and your car?

How many roads travelled, with sign posts and traffic signals,

that a stranger has placed there for your safety?

 

Perhaps it is easier to take some things for granted and worry about others,

but maybe we need to trust the people we know a little more,

or at least as much as we trust the unknown, invisible people who support our world!

 

The latté was wonderful,

A Bit Of Heaven...

 

 

Iris is the sacred flower of the goddess of the rainbow, Iris,

who would take messages of love from the "eye of heaven"

to earth using the rainbow as a bridge.

Iris means "eye of heaven" and is the name given to the goddess,

this flower, and the center of your own eye,

meaning that each of us carries a bit of heaven with us.

 

What would those messages of love be?

These flowers, to be sure,

as well as the sunlight on the grass behind them,

and the cool breeze and these friends coming together

for soup and salad and a lot of laughs!

 

Lots of love coming over the rainbow bridge!

Hide Away...

 

 

After watching a young girl staring up into this tree the night before this shot was taken,

and then hearing all kinds of wonderful owl sounds

coming and going,

I spied this pair of owl "babies"

in the hollow of a tall tree.

One of them trying to sleep,

and the other trying to make sense of me,

on a rainy morning

in St. Augustine.

at the end of this,

and in a few weeks...

 

 

 

it will unfold into that!

 

 

We do that too,

but it takes a lot longer

to come into our magnificence.

is projected far into the street

and seems fantastic!
